Third Annual YMCA City Golf Classic
Many thanks to everyone that joined us at the 3rd Annual YMCA City Golf Tournament! The event was held on Monday September 19th at the William Devine Golf Course (Franklin Park). We had a near sell out again this year and raised more than $35,000 to benefit the Reach Out Campaign at six of our YMCA’s in Roxbury, Dorchester, Oak Square, Chinatown, Hyde Park and Charlestown. Special thanks to our title sponsor: State Street Corporation as well as to all of the event sponsors.
Congratulations to:
- Donna Rennie and Ross McCullough for winning the Closest to the Pin contest.
- Marianne Sachetta and Roger Geary for winning the Longest Drive contest.
- The foursome of John Hand, Scott Troy, Devin Gallagher and Reese Genser for winning 3rd Place in the tournament overall with a score of 63.
- The foursome of Bill Parent, Sam Smith, Tom Sommerfield and Paul Palvey for winning 2nd Place in the tournament overall with a score of 62.
- The foursome of Keith Clark, John Rovell, John Milloy and Rich McCauliff from Alexandra Construction for winning 1st place in the tournament overall with a score of 61. The trophy will proudly be displayed for one year at the Oak Square YMCA.
